Bryant and Jones Selected to CSC Academic All-District® Teams

College Sports Communicators announced the 2025 Academic All-District® Teams this week, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. Northern State University student-athletes Tevan Bryant and Madi Jones each earned their way on to the list.
 
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Both Bryant and Jones will advance to the national ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 17, 2025.
 
Bryant finished her first full season with the Wolves as one of just two players to start every contest. She hit .312, led the team with 32 RBI and was second on the team with 44 hits and six home runs. The primary designated player added seven doubles, nine runs scored, a .384 on base percentage, and a .489 slugging percentage. The Sioux Falls native tallied 11 multiple hit games for the Wolves. Bryant was named to the NSIC All-Conference first team this year and holds a 3.51 GPA, majoring in elementary education.
 
Jones finished the year leading the team with a .351 average in 42 games played. She recorded 40 hits, including seven doubles and four home runs, 21 RBI, and 14 runs scored. The Nebraska native added a .380 on base percentage and .518 slugging percentage. She recorded eight multiple hit games in her sophomore campaign. She recorded an .898 fielding percentage with 35 putouts and 53 assists. Jones was named to the NSIC All-Conference second team this spring and holds a 3.85 GPA, majoring in business.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
