Aberdeen, S.D. – After a weekend split from home, the Northern State women's basketball team will continue conference play for their last home series of the 2016-17 season. NSU enters the weekend with a 16-6 record overall and 12-6 record in league action sitting second in the NSIC North.
The Wolves are shooting 45.5% from the floor, 33.0% from the arc, and 71.4% from the foul line, while averaging 68.9 points, 38.2 rebounds, 16.0 assists, 13.7 turnovers, 6.4 steals, and 4.0 blocks per game this season.
NSU is second in the league in field goal percentage shooting 44.8% in NSIC contests, and third in field goal percentage defense holding their opponents to a 37.4% mark. The women sit atop the league in rebounding, recording on average 7.5 more per game then their opponents.
Northern State will face Minnesota Crookston at 6 p.m. on Friday and take on Bemidji State at 4 p.m. on Saturday. The Saturday evening game will be host Senior Night, as well as Military Appreciation Night where fans with a valid military ID will get in free.
