Sioux Falls, S.D. - After defeating Minnesota Crookston 83-60 in the second round of the NSIC Tournament, the Northern State women's basketball team will move on to the semifinals to face Winona State.
No. 2 seeded Northern State has defeated both opponents in the tournament by 20.0+ points showing strong defense in contest one and then exploding for 83 points in game two. NSU held the Peacocks to 29 points and forced 20 turnovers and knocked down eight three pointers and shot 33-of-69 from the floor versus the Golden Eagles.
