Aberdeen, S.D. - After concluding regular season play on a 4-game win streak versus UMC, BSU, UMD, and SCSU, the Wolves will host the first round of the NSIC Tournament from Wachs Arena against Upper Iowa. The Wolves rounded out conference action with a 16-6 record and are currently 20-6 overall.
Northern State earned the second seed in the North Division, hosting the first round of the tournament for the fifth straight year.
The Wolves are shooting 45.7% from the floor, 32.6% from the arc, and 72.3% from the foul line, while averaging 69.2 points, 39.0 rebounds, 16.0 assists, 13.6 turnovers, 6.1 steals, and 4.3 blocks per game this season. Miranda Ristau is coming off her second-consecutive NSIC North Division Player of the Week honor, marking the fifth of the season for the center. Ristau tallied a career-high 29 points versus St. Cloud State last weekend.
The Wolves and the Peacocks will tip-off at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, with the men's game against Winona State to follow.
