Aberdeen, S.D. – The No. 19 Northern State University women's basketball team is set to hit the road for their New Year's contests against Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State. The Wolves will tip-off with the Golden Bears at 4 p.m. on Saturday, and with the Mavericks at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The Northern State University Wolves head into the weekend after sliding seven spots to No. 19 in the WBCA Top-25 Poll, after an overtime loss to MSU Moorhead. The Wolves are now 9-2 overall and 5-1 in the NSIC, leading the North Division and sitting third overall. NSU is shooting 45.6 percent from the floor, 37.2 percent from the arc, and 72.4 percent from the foul line, while averaging 74.1 points, 45.4 rebounds, 16.9 assists, 14.1 turnovers, 4.7 steals, and 3.6 blocks per game.
