Sioux Falls, S.D. – The Wolves Swim Team finished day two of the Augustana Triangular with losses to U-Mary, 129.5-132.5, and Augustana with the score of 84-178.
Northern State started day two when
Edda Skoric,
Kady Harris,
Jamie Fuse, and
Ashley Dunn notched a third place standing in the 200 medley with the time of 1:56.30.
Skoric led NSU by coming in first place in the 50 back with the time of 28.59 and 100 back with a time of 59.73.
Harris and
Lexie Malimanek contributed points to the NSU team score in the 50 yd. breaststroke with Harris coming in second with a time of 32.42, and Malimanek placing third notching a time of 33.28.
In the 100 yd. breast stroke, Harris swam a time 1:11.29 earning the second place standing, while teammate
Karlie Brown followed suit with a third place spot at the time of 1:13.15.
Joise Gillund notch second in the 100 free with the time of 57.34, while Dunn slipped into fourth place with a time of 58.11.
After
Gentry Musgrove finished the 200 IM event, she only with two minutes of rest before she had to swim anchor in the final event of the meet. With
Sierra Ohm,
Maida Walters, and Gulliand, the team finished second the 200 free relay with a time 1:45.61.
The Wolves will be back in the pool next Friday as they compete against MSU Moorhead at the Aberdeen YMCA.
