Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State swim team fell to MSU Moorhead 107-171 on Friday evening. The Wolves drop to 0-5 overall and 0-1 in league action.
NSU started off the meet when
Edda Skoric,
Kady Harris,
Jamie Fuse, and
Gentry Musgrove placed second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:57.30.
Skoric led the Wolves with three first place finishes in the 100 backstroke with a time of 59.57, the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:07.58, and the 500 free with a time of 5:22.79.
In the 200 fly,
Kalina Emaus hit the wall at 2:15.47, finishing in first place.
Karlie Brown followed in second place with a time of 2:18.71. Emaus also tallied a first place finish in the 1000 free notching a time of 11:11.63. Brown added to her second place finishes in the 100 fly and 400 IM with the times of 1:01.62 and 4:55.49 respectively.
The Wolves ended the meet with a second place finish in the 200 free relay. The team of
Maida Walters,
Sierra Ohm,
Josie Gillund, and
Ashley Dunn hit the wall at 1:43.70.
NSU returns to the pool on October 20th when they travel to St. Cloud, Minn. to compete in a quad with Northern Michigan, St. Cloud State, and MSU Moorhead.
