Wolves Face Off Against USF in Semifinals

After defeating Wayne State 76-56 in the quarterfinals, the Northern State women's basketball team advances to the semifinals facing the University of Sioux Falls. The Wolves improve to 23-6 overall in the season.

The Wolves enter the semifinals, after capturing victories over SMSU and WSC in their first two match-ups in the NSIC Championships. Sophmore Jill Conrad continues her standout season averaging 13.3 points per game and 6.8 boards per game. Northern is shooting 43.5% from the floor, 34.6% from the arc, and 73.0% from the foul line this season. The Wolves finished second in the league in field goal percentage (42.9) and assists (16.0) and lead the NSIC in rebounding defense (32.2) and rebounding margin (+8.8).

The Wolves will tip-off against Sioux Falls tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. from the Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.. The game will be broadcasted on Midcontinent Sports Network.
