The Wolves enter the weekend clinging to the eigth seed of the NSIC, where the top eight teams make the playoffs. Coming off of a weekend that included a loss to MSUM Dragons, who held leading scorer
Emily Becken to just two points, the Wolves regained form by winning 67-66 at UMC. Becken hit the game winning lay in with just 8.7 seconds remaining as she hit a career high 27 points. In the 58-47 loss to MSUM,
Mikayla Barondeau notched her third double-double of the season.

About the Vikings:
Augustana College enter Friday night 17-4 (11-1 home) and 11-3 in the NSIC.
The Vikings split on the road last weekend, dropping to Minnesota State and beating Southwest Minnesota State. Minnesota State snapped a 10-game win streak for the Vikings with the 98-95 overtime effort. Four Vikings scored in double digits to enroute to the 71-61 victory at Southwest Minnesota State.
About the Wildcats:
Wayne State enters the weekend ranked third nationally with a 21-2 (12-0 home) record while pacing at 15-2 in the NSIC. Last weekend the Wildcats scored a 63-52 victory over Southwest Minnesota State while taking the same honor in an 83-45 victory over Minnesota State. Wayne State is ranked #1 in several team categories including scoring defense (54.4 ppg), while taking top honors in field goal percentage (46.3%) and fieldgoal percentage defense (33.0%).

Emily Becken (G, 5-7, SR. Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) not only set a Wolves season high in points this weekend but set a new career standard of 27 points while hitting the game winning basket with 8.7 seconds left against the University of Minnesota, Crookston Golden Eagles. Along with the 27 points in winning effort for the Wolves, Becken grabbed five rebounds, dished out four assists, while snagging two steals. For the weekend Becken averaged 14.5 points, 3.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals for the Wolves.
