ABERDEEN, S.D. – Looking to snap a funk of losing three of their last four at home, the Northern State Wolves (12-8, 7-7 NSIC) used a 12-0 surge in the second half to make the comeback and down the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs (11-7, 8-6 NSIC) in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action on Friday evening.

The second half became a completely different story for the Wolves as they hit 42.3 percent of their shots while turning the ball over just four times.

After five minutes of trading baskets, the Wolves came out of the first media time out and went on an 11-0 run to go from a four point deficit to an eight point lead.

Mikayla Barondeau would start off a three point barrage and bring the Wolves momentum on a string of three straight three point baskets.

With the shot clock running down and expiring as she let go of it Becken swished a trey and got fouled after the shot. With the possession staying with the Wolves, Becken against swished a three to give the Wolves a five point lead with 14:42 remaining.

On the ensuing possession Becken again would take business into her own hands, driving the lane and getting the conventional three point play.
