The Wolves may have been on the road tonight, but thanks to many fans who made the three hour trip on the fan bus, the Wolves came out like it was a home game. They got off to a quick start and despite two early JennyTheisen three pointers, they led 17-13 at the 9:45 mark. A steal by Ryanne Brockhaus and a basket by  Noelle Hall, put the Wolves went up 19-13. Kayla Schmidt came off the bench with five quick points and with a three pointer at the 4:15 mark put the Wolves up 26-20. However, the Wolves would go scoreless for four minutes and end the half on a Noelle Hall jumper, and go into halftime up 30-26. The Wolves shot 41.9% from the field, shooting 13-of-31 and had a season low 2 first half turnovers. The Dragons shot 37.5% from the floor, shooting 9-of -28.

The Dragons came out with a whole new mentality in the second half . They went on a 8-0 run to start the second half, leading 34-30 at the 18:20 mark. A lay up by Brockhaus cut the lead to three but with back to back three pointers by JennyTheisen and Cyndney Froelich, the Dragons went up 43-34 at the 14:40 mark. The Dragons would lead by as many as 14 points in the second half. A Jaclyn Arns three-pointer would cut the lead to 11 with 13 minutes left but this was too little too late for the Wolves. The Dragons finished the half shooting 41% and it helped them to a 62-54 win over the Northern State Wolves.

The Wolves shot 36.4% from the field for the game and a cold 27.3% from the three point line. They were out-rebounded by the Dragons, 43-33. This was only the fifth time all season the Wolves have fallen behind in boards. Arns finished the game with a team high 15 points, shooting 5-of-10 from the field and 3-of-6 from the three point line. Noelle Hall was held to only 6 rebounds, but finished the game in double figures with 13 points, shooting 6-of-15 from the floor. Ryanne Brockhaus was the third Wolf to finish in double figures with 11 points and three assists.
