Kami Smesmo led the NSU pitching staff with three wins and one save over the weekend. The senior held her opponents to zero earned runs in 21.2 innings pitched. Smesmo threw two shutouts versus Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul, while racking up nine strikeouts on the week. In Northern's 8-0 victory over the Golden Bears, Kami captured her second school record of the season, with 15 wins in a single season. Smesmo is one win away from also grabbing the NSU career wins record. She is now 15-7 this season, with a 2.83 ERA.
