Hutzler placed third at the NDSU Multi with a school record 3,479 points in the pentathlon. She tallied marks of 9.36 (60, H), 1.60m (HJ), 10.12m (SP), 5.38m (LJ), and 2:29.04 (800m). The senior finished in the top-5 in four events, including a day high second in the high jump. Hutzler ranks tenth nationally in the event with a provisional mark.
