Prep: Cortez Castellanos is a 5-foot-4, 125-pounder out of The Colony High School. He was a 4-year starter and 2-year team captain for the Cougars under head coach Chuck Brown. Castellanos went 172-27 in his high school career, with 56 wins as a senior. He is a district and regional champion, as well as a 2-time state placewinner. For the Spartan Mat Club, he is a 2-time Texas National qualifier finishing second at greco state and third at freestyle state. He is the son of John and Isabell Castellanos.
