Prep: David Opheim is a 5-foot-6, 133-pound wrestler out of ThunderRidge High School. He is a 4-year starter and 3-year team captain for the Grizzly under head coach Casey Paul. Opheim holds a career record of 141-44. He is also a 3-time state qualifier. Opheim is the school record holder for most nearfalls and most takedowns. With the Score and Mile High wrestling clubs he is a national team qualifier and tournament champion. Opheim is also a member of the track and field and cross country teams at ThunderRidge. He is the son of Matthew and Sloane Opheim.
