2022-23: Recorded indoor personal bests of 1.95m in the high jump and 12.52m in the triple jump, as well as outdoor personal bests of 6.45m in the long jump and 43.55m in the javelin… Tallied 19 top-10 finishes and five event wins on the year… Took ninth in the javelin at the NSIC Outdoor Championships…

Prep: Vance Borchers is a 6-foot-2 jumper out of Roosevelt High School. He is a 2-year letter winner for the Rough Riders under the direction of head coach Jason Wagoner. Borchers holds personal bests of 6’4” in the high jump, 42’5.5” in the triple jump, and 20’5.75” in the long jump. Sioux Falls Roosevelt was the 2020 South Dakota State Meet runner-up. He is the son of Dean and Holly Borchers.
