Prep: Mitch Sharer is a 6-foot-4, 290-pound offensive lineman out of Mundelein High School. He was a starter and team captain for the Mustangs under head coach Larry Calhoun. He started all 18 games while on the varsity roster. Sharer was an All-Conference honorable mention, Daily Herald All-Area honorable mention, and Pioneer Press All-Area honorable mention selection. He is also a member of the track and field team as a thrower. He is the son of Amy Sharer.
