High School: Kloss is a 2008 graduate of Coon Rapids High School. He was a four sport athlete who competed in football, track, basketball, and soccer. He was a three year letterwinner in football, where he was named All-Conference, All-Metro, and All-State. He was also a Special Teams Player of the Year for his conference. Kloss was a four year letterwinner in track and was named All-Conference.
