Pre-NSU: Aho is a 2008 graduate of Dassel-Cokato Senior High School in Cokato, Minn. He lettered three years in football, where he was named All-State and All-Conference his junior year. Aho was the wide receiver of the year in his conference in 2007, and was MVP in his position both his junior and senior years. For his career he totalled 1500 yards and recorded 22 touchdowns. Aho played three years of varsity basketball and one in track.
