Prep: Mason Flakus is a 6-foot-2, 205-pound linebacker out of Central High School. He was a 3-year starter and senior team captain for the Golden Eagles under head coach Mike Flakus. As a senior, Flakus tallied 31 tackles, three tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, one interception, one sack, and one pass deflection. He was named to the 2017 All-ESD team. He is the son of Mike and Karen Flakus, NSU alumni, and brother to Wolves football alumnus Spencer Flakus and senior women’s basketball guard Brynn Flakus.
