Prep: Kellen Simmons is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound defensive back out of Perry High School. He was a 2-year starter and senior team captain for the Pumas under the direction of head coach Preston Jones. Simmons recorded 86 tackles, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two sacks as a senior. He was named to the All-CUSD honorable mention team and all-region second team. The Pumas finished as the Arizona State Runners-up in both 2017 and 2018. He is the son of Shelly and James Simmons.
