Prep: Dawson Schmidt is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound wide receiver out of Watertown High School. He was a 2-year starter and senior team captain for the Arrows under the direction of head coach John Hodorff. In his final two season, Schmidt tallied 1,733 receiving yards, averaging 22.5 yards per catch. He added 18 touchdowns, including a career high 12 as a senior. Schmidt is a 2-time all-conference and all-state selection and a member of the 2020 Argus Leader Elite 45 team. In 2019, he set the Watertown school record, notching 943 receiving yards. He is the son of Rich and Heidi Schmidt.
