Prep: Beau Bertram is a 6-foot-4, 210-pound linebacker out of Colome High School. He was a 4-year starter and 2-year team captain for the Cowboys under the direction of head coach Ben Connot. Bertram recorded 230 tackles in his career, with a season best 70 as a senior. He was a 2-time all-conference and all-state selection. The Cowboys won the 2016 and 2018 South Dakota State Championships, with Bertram being honored with the 2018 Lineman Award in the championship game. He is the son of Gene Bertram.
