2014: Redshirt season

Pre NSU: Gray was a 2013 South Dakota All-State selection under Head Coach Jayson Poppinga. He was a two-time All-Conference selection at quarterback and safety for the Governors, and helped lead them to the 2013 State Championship. Gray was also a member of the Elite 45 Team and Academic All-State in 2013. Gray recorded 75 total tackles as a three-year starter at T.F. Riggs. Gray also is an all-conference catcher on the baseball team.
