Biography
2023-24: Earned five individual wins, with three second place and five third place finishes… Notched personal-best times in the 400 IM (4:51.64), 50 free (24.06), 100 free (51.96), 50 back (29.16), 50 breast (34.52), 200 breast (2:39.00), and in the 50 fly (28.39)… Recorded an NCAA ‘B’ cut time in the 100 fly (51.96)… Was part of the relay team that broke the school record in the 200 free relay (1:37.50) and in the 200 medley relay (1:47.81) … Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team…
2022-23: Recorded a pair of top-10 finishes as an individual at the NSIC Swimming & Diving Championships with a seventh place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.07) and ninth place finish in the 500-yard freestyle (5:09.50)… Was a part of four top-10 relay teams at the NSIC Championships, contributing to the seventh place 400-yard freestyle relay (3:33.00), the eighth place 200-yard freestyle relay (1:38.57), the ninth place 400-yard medley relay (3:57.25), and the ninth place 800-yard freestyle relay (7:56.17)… Earned five individual event wins with 14 top-3 individual finishes, and was also a part of four winning relay teams and a total of 11 top-3 finishing relay teams throughout the season… Notched personal-best times in the 50-yard breaststroke (34.93), 50-yard butterfly (28.46), and the 400-yard IM (4:55.85)… Ranked ninth in the NSIC in the 500-yard freestyle (5:09.50), 11th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.07), 15th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:10.01), and 18th in the 100-yard freestyle (52.82)… Was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…
2021-22: Swam to personal best times in the 50 yard freestyle (24.65), 100 yard freestyle (52.33), 200 yard freestyle (1:52.45), 500 yard freestyle (5:08.14), 1000 yard freestyle (10:49.94), 50 yard backstroke (29.92), 50 yard breaststroke (35.26), 50 yard butterfly (28.52), and the 100 yard IM (1:03.14)… Ranked fifth in the NSIC in the 200 yard freestyle, eighth in the 500 yard freestyle, 12th in the in the 100 yard freestyle, and 12th in the 1000 yard freestyle… Recorded two event wins in the 200 yard freestyle, two wins in the 100 yard freestyle, one win in the 100 yard IM, and totaled 20 top-3 finishes across seven different events… Earned all-conference honors in the 200 yard freestyle with a third place finish at the NSIC Championships in a time of 1:52.45… The time of 1:52.45 in the 200 yard freestyle hit the NCAA B Standard qualifying time… Was a member of the 400 yard freestyle relay team at the NSIC Championships that recorded a sixth place podium finish with a time of 3:32.15… Broke the NSU freshman record in the 500 free with a time of 5:08.14...
Prep: Haley Osborne is a 5-foot-9, freestyle and backstroke swimmer out of Mountain View High School and Boise, Idaho. She is a 4-year starter and 2-year team captain for the Mavericks under the direction of head coach Noah Barsanti. Osborne is a 4-time state medalist, including the 2020 State Champion in the 100 free. In addition, she is a 3-time all-conference selection. As a member of the Boise Y swim team led by Todd and Vicki Marsh, Osborne was a 2020-21 national qualifier. She placed second at the YMCA Nationals in 2018. She is the daughter of Dawn and Jim Osborne.
