2021: Appeared in and started 25 matches, while playing a total of 95 sets for the Wolves… Recorded 189 kills for a kills per set average of 1.99 and an attack percentage of 0.381… She ranked third in the NSIC in attack percentage and 13^th nationally … Notched a career high 16 kills in a 5-set upset of then No. 6 Southwest Minnesota State, and recorded a career best 0.909 attack percentage with ten kills against Minot State… Tallied three assists and 20 service aces… Accumulated 266 points for an average of 2.80 points per set… Added 64 digs and 96 blocks… Was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, while also earning NSIC Second Team All-Conference honors…

2019: Appeared in 25 matches prior to a season ending injury… Recorded 154 kills, averaging 1.81 per set… Hit a team high .413 on the year… Led the Wolves with 102.0 total blocks, averaging 1.20 per set… Tallied a career high ten kills in five matches… Added career highs in blocks (8.0 versus Drury) and hitting percentage (.833 versus MSU Moorhead)… Named to the NSIC All-Conference second team…

Prep: Peyton Ellingson is a 6-foot, middle out of Warner High School. She was 4-year starter and senior team captain for the Monarchs under head coach Kari Jung. Ellingson tallied 1,314 kills, 282 total blocks, 50 solo blocks, and 73 aces in her career. As a senior she notched 380 kills, 77 blocks, and 78 digs. She is a 2-time all-area team selection, 2-time first team all-state honoree, a 2015 South Dakota State All-Tournament team pick, and a 2017 All-State Academic Team recipient. The Monarchs are 2-time South Dakota State Champions in her career with a 149-17 record overall. She is also a member of the basketball and track and field teams at Warner High School. She is the daughter of John and Nicole Ellingson.
