Prep: Sally Gaul is a 6-foot, outside hitter out of Dowling Catholic High School. She was a 2-year starter and senior team captain for the Maroon under head coach Mary Beth Wiskus. As a junior, Gaul tallied 263 kills, 84 digs, and 51 blocks. She has exceeded those numbers in her senior campaign with 313 kills, 115 digs, and 61 blocks. She was a first team all-conference selection in 2016, and a state qualifier in 2015 and 2016. As a senior, Gaul was named to the all-conference first team, the Iowa All-Star volleyball team, adn the Iowa 5A All-State first team. Gaul is also a member of the national qualifying Ignit Volleyball Club. She is the daughter of Nanette and Chris Crawford.
