Prep: Emily Schumacher is a 5-foot-11, midfielder out of Loyola Catholic School. She was a 3-year starter for the Crusaders under head coach Nicole Ruhland. Schumacher accumulated 16 goals and 18 assists in her four seasons on varsity. She is a 4-time recipient of the Spotlight on Scholars award, as well as a Mankato United All-City soccer team member, Class 1A all-star game participant, and Wendy’s Heisman School Award honoree. Schumacher is a 9-year member of the Mankato United soccer program where she was a semifinalist for the Minnesota State Cup in 2017. She is the daughter of William and Mori Schumacher.
