Biography
2006: Played in every match of the season her junior year ... was the team's third-leading hitter with 304 kills, averaging 2.67 kills per game ... came in third for digs, as well, with 372 ... had 17 double digit dig matches, including four that went 20+ ... marked a career high 24 digs against MSU Moorhead on November 2 ... had 16 double digit kill matches ... notched a career high 21 kills against Nebraska-Kearney on August 26 ... named 2006 NSIC Academic All-Conference.
2005: Played in 30 of NSU's 31 matches in 2005, making an appearance in 102 games ... was one of the team's leading defenders, coming up with 263 digs on the year ... had ten double digit dig nights, including a season high 23 digs against Wayne State on November 10 ... also had 33 kills, 27 service aces, and five blocks.
2004: Played in 72 games for the Wolves her freshman year ... marked 74 kills and 20 service aces ... reception percentage of .915 ... 121 digs ... 17 total blocks.
High School: Emily Knaeble joined the Wolves following an outstanding prep career at Saint Francis High School. At Saint Francis, Knaeble earned All-State Honorable Mention honors her senior year and was named the North Suburban Conference Most Valuable Player. She was also named to the North Suburban All-Conference Team her sophomore through senior seasons. Her teammates honored her with best offensive player her sophomore through senior year and team most valuable player her junior and senior year. Knaeble racked up 933 kills in her career to go with 805 digs, 113 solo blocks and 510 assisted blocks in the four years that she lettered at Saint Francis.
