Appeared in 94 sets for the Wolves... Recorded 227 total digs on defense... Had 27 assists and 11 service aces... Season high 19 digs versus Missouri Western and Nebraska-Kearney...

2010
Played in 21 matches for the Wolves as a true freshman. Recorded 186 assists on the season. Had a career high of 20 assists against the University of Mary on October 16. Had 129 digs in 63 total sets played.

Before Northern
Nygaard will join the Wolves as a setter/defensive specialist after a stand-out career at MHS. The younger sister of former NSU libero Stephanie Nygaard, Sami helped lead her team to two state runner-up finishes (2007 and 2009) and a state title in 2006. She is a 3-time all-conference and a 2-time all-state selection and was tabbed to the all-state tournament squad once.
