GAME ONE: CONCORDIA-ST. PAUL 3, NORTHERN STATE 2
The Wolves tallied two runs, five hits, one RBI, one error, one strikeout on the mound, 21 putouts and 10 assists in their 3-2 loss to the Golden Bears
CSP quickly got the bats going in the top of the second, securing three runs, two of which were RBI doubles from Katie Klotz and Ava Blake, with Ashlyn Peterson clocking an RBI single to give the Golden Bears a 3-0 jump
But their luck was short-lived as Concordia-St. Paul gave up multiple errors in the bottom of the second and went scoreless for the remainder of the game
First, Corina Coppersmith reached first on an error before taking second on another
With one of Northern State's best hitters at the plate in Sydney Anderson, a routine groundout turned into a throwing error, giving Anderson first and bringing Coppersmith home for the last score of the inning
The matchup stayed scoreless until the bottom of the fifth inning, when Tevan Bryant sent the ball right to the first baseman, recording the second out of the inning but also an RBI to bring the game within one
In the sixth inning, Northern State had an opportunity to at least tie the game with runners on second and third, but recorded two consecutive outs to end the inning
After containing CSP in the top of the seventh, NSU had a three-up, three-down inning to seal the game at 3-2 in favor of the Golden Bears

Blake's double brought in two runs, while Klotz tallied an RBI on the first run scored in the inning
CSP added one run in each of the next two innings before its first scoreless inning in the fourth
The Wolves recorded both of their runs in the fifth inning, with two outs already recorded
After a groundout from Hailey Cota and an Emma Owens popout to the pitcher, Kennedy Boyer singled down the right-field line to put a Wolf on the bases
