GAME ONE: ST. CLOUD STATE UNIVERISTY 4, NORTHERN STATE UNIVERSITY 1
- Northern State's one run in the seventh wasn't enough to cut the four-run deficit St. Cloud State had from the fifth, as the Wolves recorded one run, four hits, one RBI, two errors, 21 putouts, five assists and three strikeouts on the mound to lose 4-1
- Both teams started hot in the field, amounting to 13 at-bats, three strikeouts and nine putouts in the first two innings for both teams
- The Huskies chalked the board first with a Hannah Harms solo shot over the fence in left-center with two down at the top of the third
- After the Wolves left a runner on base in the bottom of the fourth, SCSU turned on the jets, recording three runs on three hits and two errors in the fifth, leaving three stranded on the bags
- Two scoreless innings later, Northern State found itself down four in the seventh
- After a walk from Tevan Bryant (Emma Owens in to pinch run), a Sydney Anderson single to left put her on first and Owens on second
- With Corina Coppersmith at the plate, a wild pitch advanced both runners for Coppersmith to send a sacrifice fly deep into center to bring Owens in for one
- The Wolves were unable to add more and fell 4-1 in the first game

- After tying the game 1-1 in the sixth, Northern State struggled in extra innings, giving up six runs and six hits in the eighth to fall 7-1 with three outs remaining
- With the bases loaded off an Alicia Jeanson walk, an Aune Boben single and a Madi Jones single, Bryant sent a stripe down the right-field line to bring Jeanson home and to keep the Wolves alive with one to go
- The rally quickly came to a halt after Anderson lined out to third base to end the game
- Huskies' infielder Grace Frechette recorded a single in the second and advanced on a sacrifice bunt and a passed ball before a Harms sac fly brought her home
