Vermillion, S.D. – The Northern State University track and field teams capped off the regular season on Saturday at the USD Tune-up. The Wolves recorded 13 top-15 finishes at the meet, including an event win, as well as numerous season and personal bests.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE MEN

• Chris Weber won the 100m with a time of 10.46, followed by Joel Matehs in 14^th with a time of 10.94
• Matehs added an eighth place finish and season best in the 110m hurdles, crossing the finish line in 14.78
• Ty Kadlec rounded out the top-15 of the 200m with a time of 22.33
• Justin Jacobson threw 50.55m in the discus, taking fourth overall, followed by Kaden St. Pierre in 13^th with a 4.404m toss
• Sam Tremelling and Eli Radtke took fourth and seventh in the pole vault with marks of 5.05m, a season best and new school record for Tremelling, and 4.75m
• The 4x100m team of Drew Salfrank, Weber, Peyton Mausbach, and Kadlec took fourth with a time of 41.24
• Season bests and personal records for the Wolves from the meet included Tremelling in the pole vault, the 4x100m relay, Jeff Boschee in the high jump, Marcus Garza in the hammer throw, Jonathan Burkhalter in the 1500m, Lincoln Woodring in the 800m, Greyson Schuetzle in the 400m hurdles and the 110m hurdles, Luke Campbell in the 400m hurdles, Geoffrey Mannino in the 400m, Drew Henriksen in the 400m, and Gracen Hansen in the 400m, Salfrank in the 200m, Matehs in the 110m hurdles, and Ross Kortenbusch in the 100m

 
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE WOMEN

• Renea Taylor ran to an eighth place finish in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.50
• Anna Skachenko finished 12^th in the 400m with a time of 57.50
• Macoya Hansen and Jordan West took seventh and 14^th in the javelin, throwing 39.20m and 34.44m
• Season bests and personal records for the Northern from the meet included Gitte Bellemans in the pole vault, Brooke Mushatt in the hammer throw, Avery Miles in the 1500m, Payton Kemnitz in the 800m, Taylor in the 400m hurdles and the 100m hurdles, Kyanna Collymore in the 400m, Alli Jackson in the 400m, Summer Carlson in the 400m, Elisabet Osk Jonsdottir in the 200m, and Emma Hunt in the 200m
