Crookston, Minn. – The Northern State University baseball team came up short in the series finale against Minnesota Crookston, falling 13-3. The Golden Eagles jumped out to an early lead, and although the Wolves mounted a rally in the fifth inning, it wasn't enough to secure the win. NSU finished the game with three runs on six hits and played error-free defense.

- After two scoreless innings, Minnesota Crookston got on the board first with one run in the third inning
- The Golden Eagles followed up with five runs in the fourth inning to lead 6-0
- In the fifth inning, Brennan Phillips got Northern State on the board with a groundout to shortstop that scored Michael Benevides
- Mateo Tahsini followed with a single and advanced Xander Paar to third; Paar scored on a throwing error by the third baseman
- Nicholas Ochoa kept it rolling, knocking a single to left field to score Tahsini, cutting the lead in half at the end of the fifth inning
- UMC extended its lead with seven runs in the eighth inning to make it 13-3
- Drew Burkholder recorded the loss in 3.2 innings pitched, with four strikeouts against 24 batters
- NSU tallied three runs off six hits with no errors on the day
