Wolves Split Doubleheader with Beavers

Minot, N.D.  The Northern State University baseball team took game one, 4-2, against Minot State but fell to a late rally in game two, losing 6-2. Game one was highlighted by a go-ahead two-run bomb from Brennan Phillips in the seventh inning that sealed the win for the Wolves. In game two, the Beavers mounted a late comeback, plating six runs across the sixth and seventh innings to hold off the Wolves. NSU finished the day with six runs on 17 hits, committing two errors.
