Tucson, A.Z. – The Northern State University baseball dropped both games to Winona State in NSIC action, losing 8-5 and 4-1. In game one, the Wolves scored five runs on 13 hits, highlighted by back-to-back home runs from
Nicholas Ochoa and
Michael Benevides in the second inning. Game two turned into a pitcher's duel, with
Braxton Kusler pitching 4.2 innings and recording seven strikeouts. On the day, NSU totaled six runs on 17 hits.
