SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Northern State earned their third win of the season against South Dakota Mines, 64-51. As a team, the Wolves tallied 64 points, 42 rebounds, 13 assists, seven steals and two blocks while shooting 37.7% from the field, 22.2% from deep and 71.4% from the line.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wolves opened the game with a trio of 3s to take an early 9-5 lead in the first quarter and shot 40% from deep in the first quarter, their best 3-point shooting quarter of the day
- Northern State scored 21 points in the first quarter, the most points in a quarter for both teams
- Of their 64 points, 32 were scored inside the paint
- Leading the charge was Izzy Moore, who dropped 16 points, seven rebounds and two assists while recording a team high of three steals
- Moore also was a perfect 6-for-6 at the charity stripe and was 62.5% from the field, NSU's second-highest field goal percentage of the afternoon
- Lily Klein and Telia Graham led the Wolves in rebounds with eight apiece, while Klein scored six points and Graham tallied five
- Of Northern's four made 3-pointers, Taylor Tool recorded two of them, going 50% in the game and leading the team in the category
- As a team, the Wolves' bench contributed 17 points and, as a whole, NSU tallied another 17 points off turnovers, forcing 16 in the game
