Wolves Baseball Set to Take on Beavers and Wildcats in NSIC Acton

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University baseball team gears up for midweek action against Minot State and a weekend series against Wayne State. The two game series against the Beavers is set for Wednesday, April 24 at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. from Fossum Field. The weekend series against the Wildcats is slated for Saturday, April 27 at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. with the final game scheduled for Sunday, April 28 at 12 p.m. from Wayne Nebraska.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

MINOT STATE STORYLINES
  • Minot State enters the week with a 13-26 overall record and a 10-19 mark in the NSIC

  • Ricky Apodaca leads the MISU offense hitting .444 with 48 hits, 33 RBIs, 27 runs, and a slugging percentage of .667

  • Noah Madas rounds out the top hitters with 36 hits while leading the team with six homeruns
  • Colton Bagshaw leads the team on to bases with 13 stolen bags while hitting .246

  • In 35.2 innings of work, Jonah Prokott has notched 28 strikeouts with an ERA of 6.81
