Northern State Set to Host Winona and Concordia from Aberdeen Dome

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University softball team kicks off the home season this weekend across town at the Aberdeen City Dome, due to colder temps in the area. Game times will remain the same with first pitch set for 1 p.m. on Friday against Winona State and 12 p.m. on Saturday versus Concordia-St. Paul.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
  • The Wolves enter the weekend with a 14-10 record overall and 0-4 mark in the Northern Sun

  • Lexi Chase and Kyra Knudtson lead seven starters hitting above .300 this season with .429 and .406 averages
  • Claire Zbylut follows with a team high 30 hits and 22 runs scored, hitting .385

  • Mckenzie Wanner and Taylor Coleman lead the staff with four wins each, while Coleman has a team best 43 strikeouts in 2024
