• 05/02 (Kid's Day): Saturday's doubleheader for Kid's Day will give children the opportunity to run the bases following the second game
• NSU Nike Team Store: The NSU Nike Team Store kiosk will be open at Koehler Hall of Fame Field for Northern State's games on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., and their games on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting
• 05/03 (Senior Day): Sunday's games will honor Grace Humann and Emma Owens, two Northern State catchers who have been a part of the team since the 2023 season

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern State boasts a 19-25 (9-17 NSIC) record heading into the final weekend of play
• This season, the Wolves have racked up 179 runs on 321 hits, 157 RBIs, 57 doubles, eight triples, 15 home runs, 12 stolen bases, 846 putouts, 328 assists, 53 errors and 178 strikeouts from the rubber
• Aune Boben has been a major part of Northern's production both at the plate and in the field this season, generating 30 runs, 50 hits, 26 RBIs, 13 doubles, a triple and five home runs while batting near the top of the order (.333 average)
• On defense, Boben has put in work at second and shortstop, recording 74 putouts and 73 assists while throwing 52.0 innings and notching 34 strikeouts from the mound
• At the plate, Tevan Bryant has produced a good chunk of scores for NSU, boasting nine runs on 35 hits, six doubles, six home runs and a team-high 36 RBIs while batting cleanup (.318 average, 1.008 OPS)
• The freshman trio of Alicia Jeanson, Sydney Anderson and Hailey Cota have made sound contributions this season, with Jeanson and Cota sitting near the top of the chart in runs while Anderson holds the highest batting average (.340) on the team
• With 207 putouts this season, Anderson also holds the team high in putouts, while fellow freshman Jeanson has 85 putouts
• Mckenzie Wanner is 8-12 in the circle this season as Northern State's ace
• In 26 appearances, Wanner has produced a team-high 88 strikeouts in 131.1 innings and boasts the lowest ERA on the team (3.62)

 
WAYNE STATE COLLEGE STORYLINES

• The Wildcats are 38-12 (18-8 NSIC) and sit in third place in the NSIC, two games above fourth-place Minnesota State
• WSC has notched 322 runs, 439 hits, 296 RBIs, 86 doubles, three triples, 43 home runs, 43 stolen bases, 974 putouts, 331 assists and 382 strikeouts on the mound
• Junior outfielder Emilee Marth has had quite a season at the plate, earning 43 runs on 64 hits, 15 doubles, a triple, five home runs and a team-high 46 RBIs, while batting .427, the second highest in the NSIC
• Leah Chance has been able to make her way around the bases effectively, scoring 51 runs (third in the conference), while teammates Maddie Scobee and Reagan Dreibelbis have tallied 45 and 37 RBIs, respectively
• In the field, Dreibelbis (262) and Haylee Weber (244) lead the team in putouts, while Scobee has notched 92 assists
• In the circle, Kennadi Borngrebe has thrown 191 strikeouts in 146.2 innings, winning 16 of her 22 games started
• Christy Warnock is in her fourth year as the head coach for Wildcat softball, boasting 38 wins this season and leading WSC to its best record under her direction

• Northern State is 3-3 with Wayne State in its last six games, losing its last three matchups with the Wildcats

 
AUGUSTANA STORYLINES

• The Vikings are 24-25 (16-10 NSIC) and are on a four-game winning streak after putting quick work to Minot State and UMary over the weekend
• In the 2026 season, Augustana has recorded 332 runs on 459 hits, 300 RBIs, 111 doubles, 13 triples, 54 home runs, 46 stolen bases, 940 putouts, 377 assists, 48 errors and 222 strikeouts on the mound
• Andrea Cain leads the NSIC in runs (53), hits (72), doubles (19) and home runs (11) while batting .409 at the plate
• The addition of Kierra Lubovich to the roster this season has been crucial to their success, with the freshman batting .439 (1.293 OPS), generating 43 runs, 65 hits, 54 RBIs, 17 doubles and 10 home runs
• Sidney Smart is the third athlete on the team with an OPS over 1.000 (1.046), collecting 38 runs on 52 hits, 11 doubles, five home runs and 32 RBIs this season
• On defense, Lubovich has notched 334 putouts this season, while Smart leads the team in assists with 102
• Helene Krage has appeared in 26 games this season, tallying 72 strikeouts and allowing 85 runs in 115.2 innings (4.30 ERA)
• Gretta Melsted is in her 20th season with the Vikings, generating 863 wins and eight first-place conference finishes with the team
