Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University softball team is set to host their Annual Homerun Derby event. The 2023 event is set Saturday, October 7 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in conjunction with the game day tailgating for the Wolves football Gypsy Days game.

nsuwolves.com/hrderby. Northern State softball accepts pre-registration online, as well as day of registration at the check-in table. All participants are encouraged to park on a nearby side street for free, or within the game day tailgating lots* that open at 9:30 a.m. on October 7.

HOW IT WORKS
- Participants register for swings at $5 each (or $10 to sponsor a Wolves student-athlete)
- Bundle options available (10 for $40, 20 for $60, 30 for $100)
- Announcements will be made throughout the event for hitters at bat, on deck, and in the hole
- Homerun hitters will receive a raffle ticket for a number of prizes available on event day
- Homerun distances will be marked for children 14 and under
- Silent auction available from 10 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
- NEW IN 2023 – Beer sales through APEX Events LLC for participants 21 and older
