Three Wolves Place in Multiple Events from Seward

Seward, Neb. – The Northern State field athletes for the track and field teams took on the Concordia Invite on Saturday. The Wolves recorded 17 top-10 finishes from the meet, including one event win. In addition, Jackson Harrison concluded the California trip for the Wolves at Mt. SAC at 11 p.m. (PT).
 
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
  • Jackson Harrison closed out Friday into the late evening hours with a school record performance in the 5000m, running to a time of 14:24.47 in third place
  • Vance Borchers recorded an eighth place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.85m, and seventh place finish in the long jump with a 6.45m mark
  • Noah Bayer and Isaac Ligon took ninth and tenth in the long jump with marks of 6.21m and 6.19m
  • Four Wolves placed in the top-10 of the pole vault, led by Sam Tremelling with a 4.70m mark in third place
  • Eli Radtke (4.55m), Noah Ford (4.55m), and Ligon (4.40m) took sixth, seventh, and tenth behind Tremelling
  • Borchers closed out his day in the triple jump with a 12.34m mark in fifth overall

  • Harrison bested his own school record in the 5000m and ranks 32nd in the event with his national provisional time
