Busy Weekend Up Next for Wolves Track and Field

Due to forecasted weather conditions all running events at the Concordia Invite have been canceled. All field events will take place in doors beginning at 12 p.m.
 

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University track and field team will compete at three meets over the weekend. The full squad will head to the Concordia Invitational in Nebraska, set for Friday and Saturday, with start times of 2 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m. on Saturday. The crew of Renea Taylor, Jackson Harrison, and Josh Martin will head west, competing at the Pacific Coach Invite (Thursday) and Mt. SAC Relays (Friday and Saturday).
 
MEET & FAN INFORMATION

  • Renea Taylor will take on the 100m and 200m from the Pacific Coast Invite and 400m hurdles from Mt. SAC
  • Josh Martin will run the 800m at the Pacific Coast Invite and the 1500m at Mt. SAC
  • Jackson Harrison is scheduled for the 5000m at the Mt. SAC Relays

  • Renea Taylor ranks 11th in the 100m with her provisional time of 11.59
  • Cassidy Gough hit a provisional mark of 52.35m in the hammer and ranks 25th in the country
 
SCHOOL RECORD WATCH
  • Renea Taylor broke the 100m school record set in 2017 by Hanneke Oosterwegel with a time of 11.59 at the Dutch Invite
