Track and Field Closes out Regular Season at SDSU Last Chance

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University track and field teams travel to Brookings tomorrow for the final meet of the regular season. The Wolves take on the SDSU Last Chance beginning at 1:30 p.m. from the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.

SCHOOL RECORD WATCH
  • Renea Taylor re-broke her own indoor school record in the 60m at the NDSU Bison Open, crossing the finish line in 7.56
  • Josh Martin knocked down Matt Walberg's 2006 indoor mile record in the opening meet of the season, racing to a national provisional time of 4:10.18
  • Jackson Harrison knocked down his own school record in the 3000m with a time of 8:21.28 at SDSU
  • Mary Franssen also re-broke her own school record in the 1000m with a time of 2:59.536 at NDSU
  • Harrison also broke his own school record in the 5000m, racing to a time of 14:35.11 at the SDSU Classic

  • Renea Taylor sits 24th in the 60m with a provisional time of 7.56
  • Glen Quayle sits 19th in the pole vault with a 4.90m provisional mark jump
