Bloomquist, Grebner Named Army National Guard Athletes of the Week

Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Chase Bloomquist (wrestling) and Lilly Grebner (swimming) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.
 
Bloomquist led Northern State with a 2-0 record from the SD Showcase. He defeated Brock Fettig of South Dakota State in a 5-2 decision and added a victory by fall over Dylan Arrendondo (DWU) at 1:32. The 165-pounder scored nine points for the Wolves in the two duals.
 
Grebner recorded an event win and two NCAA 'B' cuts from the Augie Invite. She won the 200 fly with a time of 2:03.06, which ranks her eighth nationally. The sophomore notched NCAA 'B' cut times in the 400 IM (4:28.43) and the 200 fly (2:03.06). Additionally, Grebner took second in the 200 IM and 400 IM hitting the wall at 2:06.53 and 4:28.43 respectively.
