Des Moines, Iowa – The Northern State University track and field teams closed out their weekend on Saturday at the Drake Relays, going 2-for-2 in school records. In addition,
Tanner Berg and the women's distance medley relay tallied top-10 finishes in their events.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Tanner Berg threw to a runner-up finish in the hammer with a new school record of 70.37m
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
BEYOND THE RESULTS
- Berg held a school record of 69.55m in the hammer that he set at the Jo Meaker Classic earlier this spring
- The DMR record was last set in 1998 by Julie Huss, Nancy Johnson, Lisa Urlaub, and Holly Schumacher with a time of 12:52.10
