• Minnesota State opened the game with three runs in the bottom of the first and did not look back
• The Mavericks added four more runs in the second and two in the fourth, sealing the run-rule victory
• Northern plated one run in the top of the fifth on a first and third situation, where Alexandria Arndt scored on a throwing error by the catcher
• Hannah Smith recorded Northern's two hits in the contest
• Reagan Elrod started for the Wolves and suffered her seventh loss of the season, giving up five earned runs on six hits
