Northern State Baseball Opens NSIC Action at Winona State, Games Pushed Back to Sunday/Monday

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State baseball team is set to open NSIC action this weekend as they travel to face Winona State. The 3-game series between the Wolves and Warriors has been pushed back one day to March 20th and 21st. The doubleheader to open the series is now scheduled for Sunday with first pitch at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., followed by a single game starting at 1 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
  • Northern State enters the weekend with a record of 5-8 on the season
  • The Wolves went 3-3 this past weekend in a spring break trip to the RussMatt Invitational in Florida, NSU recorded victories over West Virginia Wesleyan (7-3), Lewis (3-1), and Notre Dame College (6-4)
