Pittsburg, Kan. – The Northern State University track and field teams came home with one All-American honor from the first day of the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Shanice Burrell took 13^th in the 60m hurdles, running to a time of 8.65; the time is her second fastest of the season
• Tanner Berg finished as the national runner-up in the weight throw, tossing 22.40m on his fifth attempt of the day
• Berg earned All-American honors with the finish, marking the sixth of his career overall and fourth in the weight throw
