Burnsville, Minn. - Northern State University junior Meghan Anderson opened the season with a 2-0 record and her first NSIC Pitcher of the Week award of the 2022 season. The league office released the honorees earlier this afternoon with Anderson named to the spot. 

NSIC Pitcher of the Week - #9 Meghan Anderson (RHP, Jr., R/R, Verona, Wis. / Verona Area HS)
- Threw two complete games versus Dickinson State and College of Saint Mary
- Tallied 30 strikeouts with a 0.93 ERA in 15.0 innings of work
- Tied the single game school record of 15 strikeouts in both outings
- Gave up just six hits with a .118 opponent batting average
